NEC - November 2019

Post by amarshall »

Stand 3-460, 11m x 7.5m, with a pillar in one corner.

I reckon 4-5 cars max.

At least two elites, please!

As I am not currently on facebook and as such I don't know if Angus had had overwhelming offers on there.

Angus I'll offer what ever help I can. AOG 33T could be there if you need her. Our good friend Mr T would look at it shake his head and find little of value to add to the Valhalla of old wedge parts in Marton. But she could be there if no other elites are offered up.
Plus Hawaii may have a "hang on a minute lads, I may have a great idea" moment
The Lotus Eclat, a lot like the English Whisky company: comes from Norfolk and better than you are often told it is.

A before and after usually works well. Oggee's welcome.

If anybody is interested in showing their Elite or Eclat to mark the 45th anniversary of these cars, here is a good opportunity. It would be good to get at least one of each.

Cheers, Richard

SO when you say top trump do you mean the card game. We could print the elite toptrump card say 1.5m high at the front of the stand. Ive got that pack, the Elites on the front page

What a great idea! I did find myself checking for any of those cards for sale when I saw the show theme. It may lose some resolution being blown up too big.

I'm happy to put mine on the reserve list in case there is no other Elite. Meantime, I'll contact other Elite owners I know.

The first Eclat Sprint was at Castle Combe - I'll see if I can persuade them to come along.

It will loose a fair bit of quality but hey its fun. Ive got the pack already , we have a choice either the cover which has the Elite or the fun bit KM/h 200 HP 150 etc ,etc.
I can do the print and mount it if you guys feel its a good idea

If we can get 30 sets of details from owners with data for 4 or 5 choice categories - eg how many breakdowns etc. We could have bespoke top trump games made up
