Your application to display at Donington Historic Festival Donington Park has been approved.

You have been allocated:

20 spaces for Friday (Friday 3 May 2019)
20 spaces for Saturday (Saturday 4 May 2019)
10 spaces for Sunday (Sunday 5 May 2019)
You can now start adding the individual attendee information for your club members. Each vehicle must have the correct registration and driver details but you may use the same image for each car to represent the club if you do not have images for each car. Please note if you upload all club member details, all tickets will be sent to you. Alternatively you can ask each member to add their details and the correct image to your club booking and tickets will be sent out individually.

You will need to complete the whole process in order to generate your tickets. Please note tickets will be issued two weeks prior the event. The location of your display area will be set by the events team.

Dear Club Organiser

You should by now have received an automated email confirming your club display vehicle allocation for each day of the Festival. However, a tweak in the back end of the registration site meant that for some clubs the days of the allocations were reversed, so that what those organisers were sent in the message didn’t accurately reflect what they had asked for or, indeed, what I had set up for them.

This has now been corrected, so please disregard that email! That automated message also said that tickets will also be issued two weeks prior to the event and that pictures needed to be uploaded for the cars. There is no need to upload pictures, and entry tickets will be sent out immediately by email. It is the parking passes only that will go out two weeks before the event. So definitely disregard that automated message!

NB the space allocation is flexible - please don’t worry if you get a fantastic response from your members and look as if you’re in danger of running out of allocated spaces; the allocation can alway be increased. Equally, if you don’t get the response you anticipated, please do’t worry that you’ll have a small number of cars sitting on a large, empty stand area - we arrange the club stand space by final booked numbers, not on the original estimates, so the space will be appropriate to the number of cars actually booked in.

Despite what the website says, the display pass does include admittance for the driver - you only need to buy visitor ticket(s) if you bring passenger(s). There is a discount available on visitor tickets bought before 31 January.

We had a good display last year and it is always a very good event - being able to walk around the garages preparing rare and interesting cars is just one highlight.

The festival is also very close to the 45th birthday of the Elite which was launched on 15 May 1974. I'm hoping that we can put together a proper celebration later in the year but - Elite and Eclat owners - this could be a good opportunity to kick off the celebrations!

If you are coming along, please post on here so we have a record of who will be there and when. As before, I plan to be there all three days.
