Will post some more pics when i get a chance to clean her out and give her a polish not happy with the garage as i put a new carpet set in and they get muck all over the seats and floor of there dirt overalls and boots

Im from whitley bay near newcastle
Thae car needs a spray job on the top as its faded and some of the paint has flaked off just spent the whole day cleaning the interior looking like new now

Well shes back in the garage broken again
the timming belt slipped last weekend and bent the valves looks like it will be another 12 years before she see the light of day again

That confused me.
I typed a bit about hating the semi-auto tensioners and how they're better to be replaced with an entirely manual one like the later cars, then I realised your car has the SE interior. Cue head scratching, obviously you've done the job of moving to the later design of interior, so removing head again shouldn't bad in comparison.
It's still summer, still time to get head off, sort valves and get some more fun from the car this year.

Yes i bought a 89 interior to replace the old pinstrip blue one.
the problem i have with the head is im skint had lots of unexpected costs with my business so think it may stand until next summer but it was a good couple of weeks driving her before she broke
