Long time Lotus fan here, having just become the owner of an '89 Excel SA in Pacific Blue I thought I should pop in and say hello.

Hello :wavey :D
Am I the most Northerly member?

Thanks for the welcome, hope to see a few of you at Donington, don't pinch all the best bits - I've got some catching up to do :D

The Excel is an addition to the stable, the Elise is still available for when I feel the need for a 'bit of rough'. So that's a red one and now a blue one, just need something in Old English White

I was really glad to find an SA as I may be able to persuade the missus to share the driving, planning Classic Le Mans next year.

Funny you should say that Dave, I've used a bit of my pension money (although I don't get it for another month or so) to fund the purchase. Where's me walking stick?

From memory its A62 Claret which i feel has a little more pedigree, but burgundy is also apt, and I would be happy to drink either.
