New Excel Owner

Hello Folks,

Yesterday I fulfilled a childhood dream and bought a 1990 Excel SE in Calypso Red. I drove it home from London to Cardiff with no problems at all. I've been reading this forum for a while and found lots of the information on here invaluable when checking the car over.

I'm looking forward to the joys of Excel ownership - I'm sure I'll be posting my first question before long! :D

Cheesy grin still firmly fixed in place! :D I haven't had time to take any pictures yet, and the South Wales weather (as usual) isn't being kind at the moment... will post some soon!

Hi Bryan, looks great, especially the colour :D , but then I'm biased. You've got some great roads to try out your new acquisition (once you're out of Cardiff). Are you anywhere near Splott? My brother lives that way and we'll be down over summer. Cheers, Chris

I'm in Llantwit Fardre, a village just north of the M4, with Cardiff to the South. I know Splott (famous in these parts for its Market!) it's about 12 miles from me - maybe I'll see you in the summer! :)
