Lotus Drivers' Club meet at Weedon

LDC's new Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire area group had their initial meet up at the Ordnance Depot at Weedon this afternoon.

There was a nice, late Excel there. I thought it was Tony's (Metblue) at first but it didn't have his centre armrest/storage locker mod.

There was also a very nice, yellow Elite there as well. Star of the group for me.

Also on the Grand Toured front, there was a smart S1 Esprit in attendance.

I would have been there, but cars not off SORN until Monday.
I went last year and the Silk Red is identical to mine, just a lot better paintwork and generally reflecting it's lower mileage.
Owner lives in Rugby and only bought it last summer from Rochdale IIRC. - Cost a few bob more than mine though.

Nice and local to me, but I couldn't make this event - combination of Lotus still awaiting fitment of a non-leaky radiator, and me being in Tenerife at the time! Made it to a similar event a couple of months ago, and may make future ones, good turnout and a nice location.

I believe this is a regular last Saturday of the month event 4:00 pm.
I'll be giving the car a run out later today. Liked the venue when I went late last year.
