My 84 Excel
I have posted 3 items so far but have only just learned how to post a picture of my 84 Excel.
The avatar has totally beaten me though!

No picture displayed ...only the word 'Image'
I found that you have to be careful when pasting the 1drive Image code. For example the 2nd '[/img]' tag needs to be attached to the end of the Image code with no spaces between it and the code, and not on a separate line.
I think there are also privacy setting /browser setting issues that prevent Images being displayed which Angus and others can explain better than me.
To reduce the picture size, edit directly the pixel height and width numbers towards the end of the code string.
Ah! I see you are using google not 1drive ..ignore what I said apart from the pixel size editing which is likely to be the same. No idea how google images works!

Images are working fine for me...I see a nice early metallic blue Excel.Lotus-e-Clan wrote:No picture displayed ...only the word 'Image'

BUT - the images are hosted on Google, so may not work for anyone who isn't logged into a Google account... (another reason why it's in the "possible, but not recommended" category)

Yes Google snooping is not for me so I do not have a google account.
Better to use 1drive me thinks - it's free for first 5gig.

As an Android user and logged in to Google, can't see image on either my laptop or phone. Located in U.S. FWIW.
The space is allocated for a picture, but it just has a Grey/White Round "Do Not Enter" like sign on it.

You need to be logged in to your Google account through your web browser, not just the phone's Google services. I get the same result on mine. Google needs to see the authentication cookies before it will give up the images.Phantasm wrote:As an Android user and logged in to Google, can't see image on either my laptop or phone. Re: My 84 Excel
I'm using Chrome on both my laptop and phone and am (and have been-usually always am) logged in on both devices, can see my profile photo in the upper right corner and it reads "syncing to myemail@gmail.com" Still no joy. This website reads it's not secure, so my browser might be 'protecting me'. 3 cookies in use, none blocked. oh well.
