The Lotus Grand Tourers

Anyone know the standard specification for the front and rear springs.....?
I might just try the slightly shorter spri g option first just to see......

The coil/spring is on the outside/over the shock/damper.......i have always assumed the spring was captive on the shock......with an integral mount at the top and bottom of the shock........
The Elite version is virtually the same but I think the top of the spring sits on the chassis.......?????

I did look at this a few years ago when it was up for sale.......
Too low for me....but uber cool for the retro low rides
Think the handling wouldn't cope with a track day.....but it might.......
I'm only after a small drop......lol

Just thinking out loud really The other option would be bigger wheels and tyres with stiffer spring I suppose........but that'll knacker up the speedo....and handling...... I've not got a clue which way to go I'm just going to run it with standard at the moment and see what i think......it was all p...

can't find a section for suspension.....so thought I'd try here just thinking out loud I've completely rebuilt the suspension of the car but used the springs and damper that were on the car......all looked good...so thought why not........they all work well but I wondered about adjustable seat coil ...

Id like one.......but with the same patina my existing 3 have.......rather than shiny and new
or I will need to go for a set of 4.........and they work out about £25 each........and I think thats 'alot'

Just the little bits to tidy........but.......what colour to do the cam covers
Its a 1978 Elite 501
I assume the cam covers were originally black.......but should I go red crackle finish?......

Yes you can still buy them....... It seems they have doubled in price........ So I asked isaydingdong....and they said they could do them for £5 (Tthe original price of the others) if we knew the size of them...... Ì never want to pay a revised price especially when it's more than double........£4.7...

....does anyone want the Valvoline Oil sticker from the engine bay? all I need to know is how big they are. I don't know of this sticker in the engine bay. Not sure mine had one. Anyone got a photo?
