I cant find my original post on this, but from memory I think it was the V6 one.

Re: RV8 build
Well, as some of you may have guessed from my posts elsewhere that it hasnt been all tea and biscuits lately. I was still having problems with the 4 barrel weber carb, fuel dribbling down the venturis causing very rough running and an inability to tick over. The carb is brand new, at least it was wh...

Re: Fuel pressure
The rad cap and bleed are in a different posn on yours, otherwise it all looks the same as mine and I know all the bits connected to the system are good. Id just come to the conclusion myself that I was going to change that for a TVR arrangement with a swirl pot system. Fingers crossed.

Re: Fuel pressure
Cheers, thats one off the list then. As you have guessed, its not going well at the moment. After sorting out the float heights its still running like a dog, mainly because its dribbling fuel from the venturi booster horns in the primaries, so it wont tick over. So its off with the carb again cos su...

Re: RV8 build

Incidentally, I sat the oil filter upright on my bench and filled it with oil prior to fitting, an hour later I had to do it again. I left it overnight ...

Still needs tuning to get it to run right but I had to vacate the garage after all of the paint and stuff burnt off the exhaust. A couple of weepy joints on the oil lines need a fettle too, but otherwise I...
