Be very careful with biofuels-they can destroy any rubber components in the fuel circuit.
EFI is a start-that at least eliminates the carb seals :lol:

Went to Toyota to pick up the resistor pack-the part number previously mentioned does not fit-has 2 screw location plus stud plus short cable-nothing like the original! According to the parts guy Toyota modified the resistor pack(due to failure I'd imagine) and is the only one available for Australi...

Same problem appeared on my Excel-heater fan works on position 1 and 4 only. :cry: The car is an '89 build with aircon. Check the service manual-section PC,page 11 and there it is-fan speed resistor block.Get to toyota and order the part 87138-24011.Due Monday. So today I get a chance to have a look...

Best bang for buck has to be Dave Ryders suggestion-fitting Ngk BPR7EIX plugs. I changed from BPR6EY's and its hard to believe how much the driving characteristics have changed.I'd say 80% of low end hesitation has gone ,now much smoother and easier going up the rev range.Feels like a proper Lotus :...

I simply removed the rear speaker and managed to get an arm down the trim to retrieve the plate.
Its a bugger trying to blindly line up the plate for fitting-ended up using a spot of silicone to tack in place.This didn't interfere with alignment later on.
