Re: NEC Restoration Show 2024 - Call for Volunteers

I'll aim to be there by 9;30, rush hour traffic permitting. I've got the mugs and board sticker, so some work to do to dismantle the boards and stick other side. Thanks Richard, they look great.
Hall 5 entrance, is that correct? Who'll be best to ring for the band at that time?

Re: Electric window

To take the motor off the arm, you need to take the tension out of a big FO coiled spring. Easy enough if you clamp the arm in a vice, but don't just take the 3 imperial bolts out or you'll be down A&E.

Re: Electric window

Motor mounts to a plate with 3 bolts from the rear as already mentioned (imperial bolts). First removed the Motor and plate. The plate bolts direct to the door beam with 4 off M 6 bolts. Once these bolts are free, the glass will drop to any position you want (provided it's not jammed in the frame so...

Over axle exhaust pipes

I have a pair of the longer over axle pipes surplus to my needs. I'm not sure exactly which models had these longer pipes, but I can say for sure the MY89 with Grundy system DOESN'T - Hence why I don't need. They are stainless steel ( I painted with a heat resistant black paint) and the flange plate...

Re: Heater Controls

Are you sure you're missing a white cable clip? There shouldn't be one where to you've circled in red if I recall. That's the pivot for the two levers.
The white clips secure the end of the black outer cable, two push in from above, two from below IIRC.

I can do Friday, no problem. TBH, it's probably slightly better for me than Saturday. I can meet you somewhere Richard W to collect mugs.drop me a text and we c...
