Re: Hampshire meet up April?
Thanks Mark, I think I know why, it's to do with the 'cache' on your PC/phone. My little server goes to sleep when it's not been accessed (saves power and prolongs the life of the hard drives). It can take upto a minute for it to wake and allow access to the images. Anyway, i've now moved the pictur...

Thanks Mark,
What image hosting platform do you use?
My little server is probably struggling now. I used to use Photobucket until they got very greedy.

Re: Hampshire meet up April?
Hi Guys,
Can you please let me know if you're still unable to see my photos?
I use Firefox and seldom use Internet Explorer, but IE won't open the excelnet webpage at all. (but opens all my other links). Bizzare.

Great to catch up with you all again today, and welcome Grant and Simon. As Shaun says, look like I'm gathering wind to make a take-off in the picture above  https://dm2305files.storage.live.com/y4muS1W0aGJlN4sa4njgyVkQ7z7jBGOPjDGQLmONERVZi6nqPNQOMRchiIe7ItodhrAm1yqk7YdYctpnchlsWEB-On6ab69jhh...

Re: Hampshire meet up April?
Glad that it helped. I'll time my arrival for 8:30 as well then. It's actually not that far for me. It'll be great to catch up with everyone again.

Re: Hampshire meet up April?
Please see below for the coordinates (latitude, longditude) of 'The Junction Car Park' at Farley Mount. If you copy/paste these into Google Maps or Bing Maps it will show you where the car park is: 51.060317,-1.402562 Also, as a backup, below are a couple of downloadable PDF maps. Please just click ...

Re: Hampshire meet up April?
Hi Tony, all, It's been a very (very) long time since I last went to Farley Mount. Looking at Google Earth the roads that lead to the car parks (there are 3 at least) are quite narrow. However, it looks as though the easiest/biggest is called 'the Junction' car park. When a get a mo I plan to create...

Re: Hall sensors
Hi Pete, that's a very difficult question to answer as it depends on the sensitivity of the sensor itself. It might only be answered by a suck-it-and-see test. If you find it does interfere, then you could try isolating the sensor by fitting a magnetic shield around the sensor made from some ferrous...

Re: Thruxton Historic 12-13 June
Hi Richard,
FYI, I've made a note of the Thruxton Event as I'm planning to go (all being well), but not sure of which day as yet. As I'm a Club Lotus member I'll get the ticket discount through the club. I'll probably take the Excel.
Cheers, Martin.

Re: Aircon Condenser
I converted mine from R12 to R134, replacing all the old seals with HNBR type, which is recommended for R134.
It also has the Hella condenser with identical pipe connections as the Hella 8FC 351 039-011. Hence HNBR seals (R134a) are available and suitable for the Hella condensers. - QED

Re: Aircon Condenser
Hi, I think you'd be better off ordering the Hella item on fleabay (
8FC 351 039-011). Its only slightly shorter and the original pipework will fit OK if you get the little adapters that fit into the pipe ends.
