Sorry Derek, We didn't make it on Saturday, because one 9 year old child had a tummy bug :( . I'm a bit sad that we didn't get to see the cars on the track. We did make it to Goodwood today for the Breakfast Club though, and saw umpteen elans, europas esprits excels etc....... But all static. I'll k...

Just admiring the interior on the red car, looks really nice from what can be seen. The red car was imaculate inside and out. Made mine look a bit shabby  ! It had the earlier dash, but the leather (magnolia?) looked spankingly good! If I remember, it had just over 70k on the clock. Ps..... Oz...

Great morning out at Goodwood. Did the run in a convoy of 2 MR2's, 2 TVR Chimeras and 2 Esprits :D . Saw 2 Excels there. One I Think was yours Oz and the other one I've no idea who owns. Any how, I took a few pics for everyone to see. http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w12/dougiedumps/Image193.jpg h...

Breakfast Club
Anyone fancy Goodwood on Sunday morning ( Aug 5th )?
I know it's German cars, but I'll be going ( weather permiting!).
It's always a good blast down, and there's always a load of decent cars and like minded owners there ( weather permiting!).

I've removed the whole top arm assembly including the ball joint. The bushes look pretty rough, as does the ball joint, so i'll be changing both. I've e-mailed Mike, and hopefully he can come up with some decent used ones. I can't believe how easy it was to dismantle. I thought I'd be there all day,...

Rubbers: Expect to take a long time cutting them out - this is a nasty job. Everything at the back of the car is very easy and you can remove with the correct size socket and a vice. Everything on the front is a bugger and a half. Check availability of all the new rubbers before destroying the old ...

New windscreen fitted today. They came and collected the car from work and bought it back 6 hours later all done. All it cost me was the £50 excess. :D. When I told the guy who collected the car that it could be a little tempremental, he said 'They ALL do that. It's a LOTUS'!!!!!!!!!!!!!
