Hi Steve - can you also lift the door 3mm at the latch end? Is the hinge worn enough to create this? You're right about the through-bolts in the A-post - they make the hinges adjustable fore and aft, so leaving the lower hinge untouched and moving the top hinge forward slightly will lift the door at...

I use Taylor and Jones adjustable reamers. These are the reamers to which the extended pilots can be fitted. Tricky to use at first but once you get the hang of them they are fine.
