I have disabled the Dim Dip on mine, but upgraded the sidelight bulbs (and several others) to LEDs

The diagram covers all vacuum pipes, before and after the change which was for MY 89. The single pipe connection to each carb is 9 on the diagram, whereas the MY 89 has the pipes shown as 13. Interesting - advertised as a 1989 car, and was indeed registered in April 1989, but it is not an 1989 car, not even MY89.
It has Wickens badges, Also check the wheels, the bonnet vent and the front air intake.
