Re: Ignition break-up at low rpms when engine hot
Yes, I do have an Eclat (sorry, should have said initially) so probably not the rev limiter. Coil terminals are definitely worth playing with, especially if I see the voltage go down with all of these on. Am using the Powerspark electronic ignition kit so shouldn't be a problem with points. Fuel eva...

Ignition break-up at low rpms when engine hot
Went for a little shakedown drive today and noticed something I haven't done before. Stopped to take some pictures, turning the fan and lights on for effect. Was 5 minutes out of the car before getting in and heading off. Got back in and noticed the voltmeter just over 12V and the idle struggling a ...

Re: Replacement Radiator from China
I had a Winner Racing radiator custom built for my Mitsubishi Evo III a few years ago when was heavily modified. Great build quality and wouldn't hesitate recommending them if anyone is undecided.

Re: Eclat reverse switch
According to the online parts list, it's the same switch as used on a type 36 elan (part no. A036F6304Z ). Various Google results suggest it could be Ford, in which case I'd try Burton Power. Or a Lucas SMB420, like this : http://www.autoelectricalspares.co.uk/lucas-smb420-brake-light-switch-38-x-2...

Eclat reverse switch
Does anyone know what an equivalent reverse switch (the one that screws into the gearbox) for a 1979 Eclat would be? I've been looking for one for a while to replace mine (on which both terminals have broken off) but haven't been able to find anything. I've been advised elsewhere that a Morris Marin...

Re: Have my prayers been answered?
Just spotted this thread so thought I'd comment. I had a Winner Racing radiator custom made to my specs for a heavily modified Mitsubishi Evo III and have nothing but good things to say about them. Quality radiator, especially given the price, and I'm considering this one for my Eclat.
