Earsham Hall Riviera

I didn't see anyone with the car. Nice red Riviera on show at Earsham Hall on Sunday at the Lions Club show. My SE was in the car park. Very poor show on the lotus front, nice Europa & an Elan, but plenty of other interesting vehicles.

Re: Naughty wiper

"Wiper delay control" must be the twiddly bit, knurled ring, on the stalk that controls the rate of the intermittent wipe action.

Re: Norfolk Jan 20th- Larling

I would love to be there but I need to do pancakes for the kids...three line whip on that one I'm afraid, and I just got "Blossom" out for the first time this year on Sunday. I'm only about 45minutes away too, just right for a little run.

Re: valve adjusting shims

I am curious.
Why do you prefer to use multiple gauges rather than single one? Does this not multiply any errors & potentially include extra grubbiness (I know they shold be clean).

Or Air filter foam pad "cut to size" on ebay £4.99. Mine had crumbled to powder, had to be vacuumed out.

Drivers Door Handle

I need a replacement door handle for the driver's side. Mine had previously been subjected to a bodge repair by PO & appears to have given up the ghost at last.
Anyone got one kicking around somewhere?

Re: Overall width of car!

I have to fold the mirrors to get in or out & usually rely on a "spotter" to help. Once in the garage is a decent size though so worth the trouble.
