Re: Elise /Excel

Own an Elise fantastic car, but still thouroughly enjoy driving my Excel. previously owned an Elan Sprint and a Lotus Cortina. :) So you like Lotus then.....your in the right place. Welcome to the mad house. I've only driven an Elise once. Superb handling but I couldn't live with it as a daily car.

The left hooker was on a stand at Donington. While having a discussion about how over priced it was and a slight colour discrepancy between the passenger door and the rear wing I then noticed I was getting some looks from........... the salesman. Oh it was a trade stand ! The milage however seems ge...

Re: foam filers - erm

This is also why the 'two prods on the throttle' cold start procedure is risky. The accelerator pump nozles are much closer to the bellmouths of the carbs on the Dellorto than the Weber, with the result that splashback into the air filter can occur. If you find your air filter is burnt next time yo...

If it was on the bottom edge, its theoretically possible that petrol could leak out on to the dizzy and cause a fire. Sorry if this is a grandma/egg sucking scenario :D Bloody hell.....
