Had a similar issue after MOT. Thing stopped a few times after running warm, started again when cooled down. Gave the guy who did the MOT a call to ask what he did. Got an apology from him, he reduced the fuel supply at the carbs to meet emission regulations but forgot to tell me. Drove back to him ...

I sent a mail to Lotus a few years ago to ask if they had any information about my car (Lotus was the first owner). They replied that I had missed out on some recalls (the anti roll bar kit) and that I should contact a local dealer to get it fixed. If the parts are still available they probably will...

Check for air-leaks even if it runs OK now.
Had a similar issue, mine ran Good, went to crap, good again.
Was caused by a leaking hose to the brake servo.

I had the same "issue", was caused by a bad connection at the battery.

Chipex will never match with metallic colors, it is close to impossible to get the same effect as with spraying. the chipex you applied is probably tpp dark. What you could try is fill the spot with chipex (as you probably have done), let it dry fully. Next apply a very very thin layer of chipex, le...
