Re: Wanted - Cream Leather Front & Rear Seats

I had thought of XJS seats - I think this has been noted on this Forum.
Trying to find a half decent pair is the challenge.
I am on the lookout for a pair via as many avenues I can think of tho.
Thanks for your thoughts.

Re: Wanted - Cream Leather Front & Rear Seats

Thanks for that. I am aware of LotusBits and I think this may be my best option to get the front seats. Sadly, I cant just pop round to see them as I live in Kent and they are up near Coventry. My Excel has MX5 front seats and the previous owner gave away the original front seats! Once I get the fra...

Re: Wanted - Cream Leather Front & Rear Seats

Hi Fellow Members,

I am still looking for a pair of Cream Leather Front & Rear Seats or any combination of these.
If I could get a good condition Rear Seat then that too would be good.
Run anything you may have past me.
Any Condition Considered.
Thanks in advance

Re: Tailored seat covers

Hi there, Those XJS seats look really nice and I would imagine way more comfortable than those original. My Excel has MX5 seats that just look so wrong - they 'fill up' too much of the internal space. I know its a while back but where did you source your seats? Did you replace both front and back or...

Wanted - On-Line Parts Manual

I paid for the above on 22/6 but to date don't seem to be able to access this document.
I have tried messaging a couple of Senior Members but to date have not had a response.
Can you update me please.
Thanks,
VB

Re: New Owner

Hi there, A Big Excel welcome to this Forum. I too am a relative new boy and have found this medium very useful. I even sourced my 1987 Excel SE through this Forum. Looking forward to seeing some photos of your baby and perhaps, as the world opens for business again, catching up at a meet or 'show'....

Re: WANTED - Lotus Excel

Hi Tony, Regarding the name 'Larry', that is the name Andy's daughters gave the Excel. No obvious name could be extruded from the registration number so we thought it appropriate to keep the name Larry going. Didn't want to confuse the car did we? Would be nice to meet up. I now want to see as many ...

Re: NOT WANTED ANYMORE - Lotus Excel

Hello fellow Lotus Excel Owners, I am extremely pleased to advise that after what seems like an eternity of liaising with a number of you, problems with C19 travel, viewing and similar restrictions - I am now the very proud owner of a '1987 Mediterranean Blue Lotus Excel SE'. This is the car that ha...

Re: WANTED - Lotus Excel

Although I haven't driven an Excel auto, I have my heart set on a manual gearbox. If you're up Oxfordshire way you're welcome to try an Auto Stu, That is so kind of you - I will bear it in mind. Only been on this Forum for a matter of days and I can't believe how welcoming and helpful people have b...

Re: WANTED - Lotus Excel

Hi Tony, I have seen both of those cars. The £17k - a cup of coffee one is from a reputable dealer. I would describe it as a good, honest, unmolested vehicle. In my mind, the dealer is asking too much for it and I haven't pursued it any further. The £10k - a cup of coffee one is a private sale from ...

If you are at all interested I can let you know what has been done to the car an...
