Re: Door Wiring loom

If I could post a pic I’d show you on my car where I’ve recently replaced both door beams.

The door wiring loom hugs the A post and then into the door.

If you send me you email address I’ll send you some photos.

Regards

Re: Free to a good home

Hi all, Having a new Year clearout and I have the following parts that are going to the dump on Thursday, unless someone wants them. They would need to be collected as I don't want to be bothered with wrapping and sending them. Location is near Salisbury. They are all from an Excel SE. exhaust down...

Re: Oil Pressure relief valve

Has anyone increased oil pressure by installing a stronger spring to the relief valve, or by packing the spring with washer/s? And while at it, what maximum pressure would be recommended when the relief valve opens? Also are stronger springs available, I see no reference at SJS? Dave the cog. Hi Da...

Re: Excel at auction 30/10

Just an update, went to view this Excel at SWVA Poole so thought I would post my view. Its a pretty decent car underneath and the inside is equally tidy, headling sagging at the rear, wood on dash needs sorting out and a general good clean and tidy inside. The worst thing on the car, is the paint j...

Re: New owner

That's a real mix of cars / motorbikes for sale in the background Clive. Was it a dealer who just didn't know what he liked, or a collection being sold off? Tony It was a commission sale on behalf of an old boy who was reducing the number of cars in his collection of 30+ cars. The dealer is Themoto...

Pleased to announce that I’ve just bought a Lotus Excel SE 1990, having spent the last year viewing various cars, including a very pleasant trip to Malaga.
