Re: A Doh moment
Apparently each side can be different, as the roll bar that they attach too, may be closer to one side of the body than the other. That's what i found out when i called a Lotus Garage to ask about it. When i go to get the car serviced i'll have them take a look at it to double check At the moment i'...

Re: Group LOTUS woes....
The problem with DB was while he had all these grand plans he spent a huge amount of money with very little to actually show for it. He got everyone sucked in (me included) spent half the cash lotus got, was only just starting re new esprit development and took his eye completely off lotus's current...

Re: Stainless 4-2-1 manifold?
Yes thats pretty much the case So yes it would be a good upgrade on the Esprit, especially so, if you have tuned the engine aswell, which is IMO a must on a non turbo esprit as at the end of the day it's a junior supercar with all the associated running costs so you may aswell get the performance to...

Re: Headlining replacement
Just replaced headlining and cant rails, I used materials and glue which I purchased from Lotusbits, obtained excellent results material in my limited experience I found can be stretched sewn and glued without hassle; the glue applied easily has a tachy period and appears to hold well. From experie...

Re: Does anyone know the white car at UK Sportscars?
UK Sports cars have a questionable reputation, if forums stories down the years are accurate, best to treat buying from there like buying private i'e no comeback! I would not pay a dealer level price for a car from them Just Google Lotus excel for sale, you'l get stuff from E-Bay, Autotrader and var...
