O'Brien Glass Australia are having trouble sourcing a windscreen for me.
Anyone know of availability/who could send to Australia?

Not sure - the engine bay looks a bit "patinated" and it's not clear what spec. it is - 501,502 or 503. It may have passed an MOT, but I suspect it needs mor...

Re: blower has stopped working

After a year of fan speeds position 1 and 4 only-2 decided to work again
I'm suspecting dirt/corrosion on the switch contacts.

Re: Eagle unveiling - live feed

Excel interior legroom(Autocar 1983)
Front 38"-43"
Rear 22"-27"
Be interesting to see if they've improved on this.
Of course no central chassis to worry about

Would it not have been easier to enlarge the holes in the "B" post?

Re: Lotus Eagle at the Ring

In 1957 Lotus introduced the type 14 Elite-technically brilliant yet Lotus lost money on each car produced. The company was saved by the type 26 Elan which brought in a ton of cash. Lotus then went upmarket with the type 50 Elite only to have it released in the middle of an oil crisis.... Fast forwa...

Hi Andrew, remember to calculate shipping and customs duty/gst when you compare Aussie prices with the UK  My '89 cost $120K new! Most people would recognise an Esprit-and there are a few of them around-but the Excel is a very rare sight and not particularly sought after. Imported Cars will h...

The bits under the bonnet came out, surprised how heavy the pump was.
Did look to remove the condensor in the dash.
As it's part of the air vent lines I just left it in place.[/quote]

Would be a lot easier if the dash had a removable panel like its Supra counterpart
