this problem leaves me confused. i get the flashing orange light below half tank but the gauge is stable. but my choke warning light never works of the choke, and i cannot find a switch fitted to the choke control. i thought the flashing light was caused by a faulty miss connection by a previous own...

i had pump problems sent the lot to burlem and they will quote for a rebuild(electronic) or a replacement.
it is a standard model for many cars. our take a photo as it is only the port position that varies.

try a simple answer first. pop out the switch remove the multipin plug from the back and spray the internals, and the multi pin, with contact cleaning fluid, then operate switch a few times. then reassemble and test . if ok test again 12 hours later to see if problem has gone.

the fuel light delay module stops the low level fuel light coming on if the low level switch is only operated for a short period of time.mine does not work and the low level light flashes around corners and over bumps when the tank is below half full. sometimes called a time delay relay i cannot fin...

if you need a carb tune try alvin powel in saltash cornwall. my carbs needed work as the accel pump diaphragm had split i stripped and rebuilt them and achievd a basic set up. alvin then got all the old gear out and set them up beautifully. did not use his rolling road. the car flew the mot on emisi...

there are 2 flaps one decides if it is fresh or recirc air. it is locked on fresh, that is ok. the other flap is the distribution and it can sellect demist/cabin i cannot get demist to function so that one is closed. also nothing coming down the flexi pipe to the foot wells. all back in one piece no...

i do no like the headlamp flash by the pop up routine. a bit too slow, and unnecesary load on the mechanics. is it legal and possible to relay (diode) the fog lights to give a flash option? i have the lotus service notes but do not know where the relays ect are located.
