Re: cambiare la cintura di cronometraggio di Excel

Goodmorning everyone. I fixed it, put the fifth gear in and then with a good wrench and an extension tube the bolt counterclockwise unscrewed immediately, then the V-pulley came off effortlessly. Thank you

Re: changing my Excel's timing belt

Thanks for the reply. It seems strange to me that if the engine turns clockwise, they put a bolt that unscrews counterclockwise. If it's as you say, I could lock the bolt with a good wrench and give the engine a starter blow, after disconnecting the ignition coil.

changing my Excel's timing belt

Good morning. A question for experts. I have a problem changing my Excel's timing belt. I need to disassemble the crankshaft pulley, but does the bolt unscrew clockwise or counterclockwise? If you also give me a tip to lock the engine to unscrew.Thank you

Re: First job jobbed - 2 more found !!!

Thought I'd start this thread to record ongoing improvements to my new acquisition, the Silk Red MY92 Excel I collected last Friday When I viewed the car, I noticed the screws securing the drivers door latch were slightly loose. Over the weekend I thought I'd tighten them, result being that the doo...

Nice job - it will be good if we can see the gear knob when it is complete?

Cheers
Here it is, how is the result?

Re: Gear knob

Sorry, can you tell me why 0/D is written instead of 5? Thanks, I will try to have it made by a carpenter and the part with the numbers with the 3D printer. We will see the success.

Re: Gear knob

Hi I've got a 1984 Excel with the orignal wooden gear knob, part number is A089F0411F I think. It's approx 45-46mm in diameter and looks like this: https://i.ibb.co/GkPzTkQ/Excel-knob-1.jpg https://i.ibb.co/1z7wqrm/Excel-knob-2.jpg https://i.ibb.co/bR3kb12/Excel-knob-3.jpg https://i.ibb.co/CbVPPyY/...
