Shock Absorbers
Bryan, I seem to remeber one side being shall we say, problematic. I crushed the upper sleeve down onto the strut with a pair of mole grips. This gave enough purchace to shift the nut. You can get the grips through the spring when it's extended far enough. This is of course a one way step and the ca...

that link doesnt work (atleast on my computer) No, but I remember the thread well. However I cannot find it now either. So to avoid libel, I will only say - ensure you do find and read the thread before you buy from this seller. Or, contact micha (yeah, I know) and (I think) Robert in Aus. The arch...

Re: NEC Classic Car Show : theme & arrangements
Can I be perhaps objective and as I can't be there, and perhaps impartial. If I was spending perhaps £50-60 (or more) for a familiy entry. A fair bit on travel and possibly hotels. I'd expect to see concours vehicles. This is a Lotus stand from last year. http://www.nickhastingsphotography.co.uk/ima...

Re: Front Drivers side sits low
Can't just get adjustable shockers because these fronts are chassis to wishbone, no room for adjustment. Nick, I've adjustable dampers all round Don't even need to jack the car up to adjust the front, but it is easier, just turn the wheels full lock and in with screw driver between the spring. Pics...

Jerry,
Mike and Matt Younger, very knowledgable on Lotus.
However, I think a little pricier the Mike Taylor and not
to sure about return policy.

Re: Anti-roll bar bushes
Hi Rob,
I've just replaced the arb to chassis bushes with poly ones from SJ.
Did the at the same time as the dampers, four gaz adjustables.
Got to say I'm very happy with the results.
I've still got the rubber bushes on the end of the arb, where they meet the lower wishbone.

Re: Donington 2009
Not going down for the Lotus event this year I'm afraid.
However I will be down later in April to drive the circuit, not in the Lotus though.
A certain significant birthday present from one of my daughters is a morning in a single seater.
