The aerial part itself is detachable so it must be hiding some sort of fixing.

5/16" UNC x 3/4". Only cap heads will fit.

ISTR they are 1/4" UNC, but I'll check later if I can find a spare.

I'd like one on the Elite but don't want to make holes in the rear end. Will probably end up with a slim glass-mount version, but it's a loooong way down the list!

The grills are ordered. I'll let you know when they arrive. They have already said they are very busy, so not sure how long it will take.

One question is, are the heater vents in the dash easily removed? Easy to remove - tricky to put back. They are held in place by sprung steel clips which squish down as you pull the vent out. Getting them to sit back inside the flexible plastic vent trim behind them is challenging, to say the least...

Fantastic! Sometimes there is no other option but to spend some money .

If you leave the waistline trim off make sure you add extra strength to the same area on the inside of the car - I think the paint may crack along the joint due to flexing of the body shell otherwise. I also prefer the look of the Esprit without the trim .
