Just looked at a couple of logo shirts I have and it's common for the logo to sit quite high. - bottom of logo in line with bottom of buttons.

I'd be quite happy either lotus badge top or bottom. Agree www is not critical if it makes things easier.

I like the web lettering and think it should stay but think the logo is sitting too high on the latest picture posted. ESPRIT can't go any lower I agree, but how about dropping the lotus logo to the bottom, so creating an upside down triangle ? As pointed out, ESPRIT is "worst" case. Other variants ...

My car has Nylock nuts and don't need to be over tight.
I just put an 8mm socket on a 1/4 " UJ, then a screw driver handle drive. Being Nylock, hand tight is plenty.

Been thinking. If it was the starter motor, why wasn't the gear thrown out to the fly wheel? Unless I have two problems?

An intermittent issue today. Cold start, bit reluctant to fire. Holding key in crank position for maybe 5 seconds, but when key released, I could still hear a motor running in engine bay. Engine not yet running, and not being cranked, just a motor running. I THINK it was the starter motor. Switched ...

Can't help on the vac advance unit, but check the hall effect pick up wire closely and also the nylon castlation widget that drives the vac plate.
The wire particularly gave me much grief for many months (years) until I eventually replaced with new. Intermittent break in the wire.

I would have been there, but cars not off SORN until Monday.
I went last year and the Silk Red is identical to mine, just a lot better paintwork and generally reflecting it's lower mileage.
Owner lives in Rugby and only bought it last summer from Rochdale IIRC. - Cost a few bob more than mine though.
