Re: Website Change Request

I would prefer it as is, otherwise you can end up with loads of tabs open. For those that want to open in a new tab, then on a pc do as above. On a tablet normally just hold finger on link rather than quick tap and you have option to open in new tab.

Lotusbits current Covid position

Just seen this in Facebook. Lotusbits - most of the team are currently self-isolating until Friday because of contact with someone who has the virus. Only one has tested positive, the others are all negative. Dave is still working as normally as Dave ever does ;) because he wasn't there on the day i...

Re: Tyre sizes for Excel SE

Absolutely Ridiculously priced. Perfectly suitable tyres are available by the set for the price of one of those. Talk about milking the brand  I think the price is largely dictated by volume. 215/50 R15 hasn't been a standard fit on anything for years. And the fact these are aimed at owners ...

Re: Explain this if you can!!!!

I know how much water that insulation can hold from first hand experience

To track my leaks I dusted the inside floor and sills with talc so could see the tracks left from the water. Mine were door seal to window frame, door seals at sills and also door hinge bolt.

Re: Ollie’s Funeral request for cars

Unfortunately I can’t do this as I have a work commitment I can’t get out of and being in Wales would be illegal for me to travel into England for this purpose. Let’s hope after this current situation is over there will be another opportunity to Mark Ollie’s life and contribution to the world of mot...

Ollie’s Funeral request for cars

I have just seen a request on Facebook for Lotus cars, especially Elite, Eclat and Excel for a rolling tribute at Ollie’s funeral.

Re: Peter James Insurance price hike

I’m watching this with interest as I have both my Lotus with Peter James on one policy which was renewed in August. At that time they were the cheapest and my policy has unlimited mileage via Club Lotus membership.

Re: RIP Oliver Winterbottom

A great fella. Ive also owned an S1 TVR tasmin so we had a good chat about both cars, a very nice guy. If Covid wasnt an issue we could have travelled to his funeral and given him a 'sound off' exhaust blast as he went past on his last drive, I bet he would have liked that. Bash I had a similar tho...
