Looks like you have the self-designed (and manufactured) head rest fitted to the driver's seat.

Re: NEC Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show 2020

I also got the email today. Sad but not surprising with the recent news. In fact, the way scientists are talking about timescales for vaccines, the Practical Classics Restoration show may have to be delayed but I hope not. I will be willing to help whenever it is.

Bought my tickets so I will be there. I see from their pictures that there was a nice-looking Elite there last time.

I wasn't planning to go but might now just for the novelty of having two Excels there.

Re: Very low mileage Elite for sale

I think it's the VAT on the 11% so +13.2%. You shouldn't have to pay VAT on the car.

Mine is glued on whxh makes getting the parts up against the windscreen difficult to re-glue.

Re: Just for fun!

If your tank is stuck when you want to remove it try running the pump with the tank breather blocked. Tank will probably collapse due to the small vacuum thus created inside it.

Re: Just for fun!

Audis and Mercedes used to use vacuum motors to operate the central locking having a little vaccum pump and a lot of pipes. Isn't the force just the vacuum pressure times the area of the diaphragm? I guess the diaphragm is the same diameter as the pod.
