Sorry.,I did mean the rear glass. The cracking occurred after I put the heated rear screen on to remove the condensation but it did not work. When I stopped and got out of the car the glass just shattered. I assume there must be something to do with the connection it a wiring fault. Will have to fur...

Managed to get a second hand windscreen from SJ Sportscars in Crediton Devon, picked it up yesterday

Just an update on the seals. Fitted the passenger door seal and found it was too long! Rang the suppliers and they told me that it is the correct size and I need to fit the seal to the frame at about 300mm centres and leave a small loop of seal and then use a section of wood and hammer to secure the...

Thanks very much Kev very much appreciated.. I will replace the complete door seal to each door and set them in the black mastic. I also notice that I have a large gap between the window glass and the outer skin which can allow water into the door so I am going to find a seal that will fit here too ...

I want to order the d seals as I am going to replace the door seals due to water getting into the foot wells. Do you happen to have the name of the company you bought them from as the old e bay link won't connect?

I too would be happy with all three. It I s certainly not fair for Chris to pay for things out of his own pocket and very sad to lose Angus who put a tremendous amount of time and effort into this forum

I could not get the car to start. Garage found that the AB14 needed replacing. Still would not start and found that some of the connections between the coil and ditributer were corroded due to,this damn wet weather!
