when i did my frame i cant remember seeing anything on the glass, just the draught excluder along the top of the door card that rubs on the glass.

Yes it does sound like the neutral is getting a Ghost feed from fog live confusing the lift motor. if the motor gets a real live feed and neutral one at same time the motor will vibrate slightly as its trying to rotate both ways at once.

I've steered clear of the Comma brand, mainly due to my own ignorance about the quality, but I suspect it's cheap for a reason. Anyone on here have any positive experiences with Comma engine oil? spoke too soon! although warmer now, it took an absolute age for the engine to reach "normal" temp. I thought the fans were stuck on but no. on way home it warmed up as normal within 3 miles so im guessing the thermostat might have been stuck open so new one on the way.

Yes, try rev limiter first. If you dizzy is points (cant remember if excels had them early on) they could be sticking closed. i had same issue on my eclat.

Happy New year ( thank feck 2020 sodded off)
Its been a while since ive had much to say cos the excel hasnt moved since november MOT. I have been busy though as i bought an oldish coach to refurbish and use as a sort of "day van" for vehicle shows etc.

does the fog switch light up when on? if not see if the plug came off the back of the switch. it can be disturbed if removing cluster panel. Horn, did you remove the steering wheel to get to instruments? if so did you put the wire back onto button.

yes, SJ make their own to order. ive had 2 fibreglass lower spoilers and a front bumper over the years and they are very good.
